How I'd Lead Video Scholarship

We recognize the role students play in informing our work as critical. As we traveled to Little Rock, Arkansas for our 2018 Issues Forum, we wanted to offer students there a chance to showcase their thoughts on improving education in their state. To that end, SEF launched the "#HowIdLead" Video Scholarship, a $1,000 one-time scholarship award provided to support high school seniors in the Little Rock School District as they prepare for the transition to college. We understand that college can be expensive and that supplemental grants can be a significant factor in covering the gap between loans and tuition, increasing the likelihood of first-year success.

SEF was happy to award five Little Rock School District seniors with a certificate of youth leadership during our Politics of Equity forum for their thoughtful video submissions. Thank you to those who submitted, and congratulations to the scholarship awardees.
